HEAD BALLAST The company wants to install Romagna, eight kilometers from the coast, a total of 33 turbines capable of producing 99 megawatts of power, 90 meters high above sea level. A solution that, when combined with the other four projects (presented by three other companies) on the same stretch of coastline, would lead to the birth of a wall of wind sixteen kilometers long, with 290 aero-generators that produce a clear environmental impact, as would be well visible from the coast of Cagliari.
FEATURES Puglia projects (two in the province of Foggia e uno in quella di Brindisi) sono del tutto simili alla proposta presentata in Sardegna: stesso modello di pale eoliche (il V90, della potenza di 3 megawatt ciascuna), realizzate dalla società Vestas, con un'emissione acustica nominale dichiarata (alla velocità di riferimento di 8 metri al secondo) di 109,4 decibel. Numeri importanti, che la Regione Puglia avrebbe voluto approfondire in una conferenza dei servizi su base locale.
LA SITUAZIONE A oggi in Italia e in tutto il mar Mediterraneo non esistono impianti eolici off-shore in funzione. Nella Penisola sono in fase avanzata di autorizzazione sei impianti, di cui uno sperimentale in acque profonde in Sicilia.
