LA REGIONE Al fotofinish, dunque, è arrivato anche da Cagliari ricorso contro il piano della Raddusa Energy, che ha chiesto alla Capitaneria di porto una concessione demaniale (per sessant'anni) per installare venti pale a un miglio dalla spiaggia di Abarossa. «Il parco eolico proposto ricade all'interno di uno specchio d'acqua che è parte integrante del Sito di interesse comunitario "Sassu-Cirras" - esordisce l'assessore Oppi - La presenza di impianti di questo tipo non solo crea un notevole impatto visivo, ma anche un grave disturbo agli uccelli e ai pesci, provocando interferenze con le rotte migratori e un danno alla prateria di posidonia». Poi un altro aspetto: la presenza di siti archeologici (Tharros, prima di tutto) e la vicinanza con l'Area marina protetta del Sinis. E a questo proposito l'assessore Giorgio Oppi ricorda subito la legge approvata recentemente dal Consiglio regionale: «Il mare territoriale è considerato di primario interesse paesaggistico ed è oggetto di tutela». Poi aggiunge un passaggio importante della nuova norma: «La Regione considera meritevoli di tutela le praterie di posidonia e vieta qualunque intervento che possa compromettere l'integrità e lo stato di equilibrio». Infine una precisazione: «Il no della Regione vale anche per il progetto di Is Arenas. "
