time when China was a country far away and exotic, is over. Now is one of the largest economies in the world, whose growth seems not to take too much account either the economic crisis. In addition to playing an increasingly important role in Western markets, its presence is palpable even physically. Our cities show more and more the traces of a new multi-ethnic society in which the policy of "not in my backyard" (English expression that has its counterpart in the Italian "not in my house" note) can no longer be a valid reason for closing, self-sufficiency or the dominance of the culture original has no further reason to exist as a concept, and has never had. Can no longer exist, not only as a result of the presence of "other" cultures on our national territory, but mainly because it is not conceivable that a cultural hierarchy on the model guest-host (where the host is often seen as inconvenient). So what is the appropriate term to describe the right way to approach the "other" cultures without them and the host country will lose their particular characteristics? Integration. The integration process, however, must be properly stimulated, but to a greater extent spontaneous. So what can hinder integration?
Composed of seven chapters, with the input of data and charts, it discusses issues of greater importance, the Chinese neighbor allows the reader to get acquainted with information otherwise not easily available, and to understand more about the world complex in China today, and consequently that of those who bring with them, thousands of miles away, a piece of it. Economy, sales techniques, spirituality, language changes, identity, myths dispelled, everything is contained in this editorial work, containing, respectively, in the opening and closing two eyewitness accounts: stories Wulian Weng, and Mark Wong, examples integration through and commitment to personal and social difficulties.
