Roma - 03/04/2007 - The adventures of Wu Ping and Yang Wu have come to an end. The couple, who strenuously occupied a house belonging to Chongqin counterbalancing the order of eviction to make way for a shopping center, has accepted the conditions laid down by the real estate company in charge. The two will take possession of the same size of the old house on the outskirts of Chongquin in Shapingba District. Requests Yang had put forward that does not seem to have been completely fulfilled, because, in addition to moving to a new home, was called for a sum of money, of which the information available to make no mention.
However, the pair have vacated the old buildings of the 40s in the afternoon on Monday and have begun shortly after the demolition work. Lowered, then, that the flag of the People's Republic of Yang Wu had hoisted as a sign of determination on the roof of the building and reduce the media pressure that the incident, according to sources, is an echo of popular discontent against the urban development plans and their consequences.
